The most common form of treatment associated with chiropractors is joint manipulation, or "adjustment". Chiropractic adjustments are used to restore normal range of motion in restricted joints. Our doctors specialize in a wide variety of adjusting techniques to address any spinal or extremity joint dysfunction.
SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION
Most chiropractors are not only trained to treat the joints of the body, but the muscles as well. It is common to have both joint and muscular dysfunction at the same time. Soft tissue therapy consists of treating the muscles and tendons of the body. Our doctors are trained in a variety of soft tissue treatments that work in conjunction with other therapies.
Rehabilitation is combined with most other chiropractic servies to maximize results. Patient specific rehab will improve strength, reduce built up muscular tension, and enhance athletic performance. Patients that comply with their individulized exercise regimen typically see the best results.
Passive therapies are used to reduce pain and inflammation and are among the best first line treatment options for recently occurring traumas or injury. Our doctors may choose to utilize a variety of passive therapies based on the consultation and assessment findings.
